1. Introduction
These terms govern your use of the Flextooth platform (flextooth.com), operated by Flextann AS, organisation number [pending registration], with registered address Fjellgata 4, 2212 Kongsvinger, Norway. By using Flextooth, you accept these terms. If you do not accept the terms, please do not use the service.
2. Definitions
"Service" — the Flextooth platform, including the website, apps, and all associated features. "User" — any person who visits or uses the Service. "Clinic" — a dental clinic listed in the directory, whether claimed or unclaimed. "Patient" — a user who books an appointment or uses healthcare services via the Service. "Account" — a registered user profile on Flextooth. "Content" — text, images, reviews, and other material uploaded by users.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, or that you have parental consent. Continued use of the Service after changes to the terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
4. User Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your login credentials confidential. Flextooth may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, or that have been inactive for an extended period. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.
5. Platform Services
Flextooth provides a digital directory of dental clinics in Norway, with features for clinic discovery, appointment booking, reviews, and treatment information. Flextooth is not a healthcare provider and does not deliver dental services. We are a marketplace platform connecting patients with dental clinics. All treatment decisions are made by the individual clinic and their healthcare professionals.
6. Clinic Listings
Flextooth displays dental clinic listings based on publicly available information (Brønnøysund Register Centre, Norwegian Directorate of Health registers). This is in accordance with GDPR Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interests. Clinic owners can claim their profile to manage and update the information. After claiming, the clinic owner is responsible for the accuracy of listed information. Clinics that wish to remove their listing can contact us, and we will process the request in accordance with applicable legislation.
7. Booking and Payments
Appointment bookings through Flextooth create an agreement between the patient and the relevant clinic. Flextooth is an intermediary and not a party to this agreement. Payment is processed via Stripe. Flextooth does not store payment details directly. Cancellation policies are set by each individual clinic and are clearly displayed at the time of booking. Flextooth is not liable for disputes between patients and clinics regarding bookings, treatments, or payments.
8. User Content
Users may submit reviews, ratings, and feedback. By submitting content, you grant Flextooth a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and use the content on the platform. Content must be truthful and factual. Flextooth reserves the right to moderate, edit, or remove content that is dishonest, offensive, defamatory, or in breach of applicable legislation.
9. Intellectual Property
The Flextooth platform, including its design, logo, trademarks, software, and content produced by Flextooth, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights belonging to Flextann AS. Users retain the rights to content they upload, subject to the licence described in section 8.
10. Limitation of Liability
Flextooth is provided "as is" for directory and marketplace functionality. Flextooth is not liable for: • The quality of dental services delivered by clinics • Clinical outcomes or treatment results • The accuracy of information provided by clinics after claiming their profile • Availability of services at listed clinics • Loss or damage resulting from use of the platform, unless caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct on the part of Flextooth This limitation applies to the extent permitted by Norwegian law.
11. Privacy
The processing of personal data is described in our privacy policy, available at /no-en/privacy. The privacy policy is an integral part of these terms.
12. Changes to the Terms
Flextooth may update these terms. For material changes, we will notify registered users via email and/or by a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be settled by the Oslo District Court as the agreed jurisdiction.
